CAC-Florida Medical Centers will open one new facility in Margate, one in Orlando and two in Tampa Bay.
All CAC full-service, multi-specialty medical centers offer comprehensive outpatient medical care, including primary and specialty care, pharmacy services, pain management treatment and diagnostic testing. Physicians are available 24 hours a day and transportation to the centers is provided to patients in accordance with their health plans.
The newly acquired medical center in Margate, 4131 N. State Road 7, is the first of several CAC-Florida Medical Centers planned for Broward County. CAC will also open a regional Wellness Center where patients can participate in a wide range of social, health and lifestyle classes and activities, including on-site exercise classes through the SilverSneakers Fitness Program, the nation’s leading exercise program for older adults.
The new 10,000-square-foot center at 637 Semoran Boulevard in Orlando is the third in the area. CAC also has facilities in Pine Hills and Kissimmee. The new location will include a separate Wellness Center.
The two new Tampa Bay facilities will open this fall. One will be at 4340 Hillsborough Avenue and a second will be at 8326 North Florida Avenue. Each will have a separate Wellness Center.
CAC-Florida Medical Centers serve Medicare Advantage members of CarePlus Health Plans, a Miami-based Medicare HMO, and patients with Original Medicare. The company also offers an affordable fee schedule for self-pay patients. CAC-Florida Medical Centers and CarePlus Health Plans are subsidiaries of Humana Inc.
