Changes in health care, prompted by the Affordable Care Act, have provided new opportunities for many people to gain coverage – some for the first time. As with anything new, there has been some confusion and lots of questions. Humana has created a website, Humana.com/Help, to answer our new members’ top questions following their enrollment through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
At Humana.com/Help, members will find answers to questions like these:
- I just enrolled, now what?
- How do I make a payment or set up automatic payments?
- How do I find a doctor?
- Who do I call if I have a question?
- What do I do in an emergency?
- Can I talk to a nurse?
- What is MyHumana.com and what can I do there?
If you purchased a health insurance plan before December 23, 2013, your coverage began January 1, 2014, and you may find answers to the questions you have at Humana.com/Help. The final deadline for open enrollment is March 31, 2014. If you have not enrolled and have questions about the exchanges and plan options in your area, go to this site: HumanaHelps.com.
