Humana was recognized as a 2019 North American Candidate Experience Award winner for the seventh consecutive year. The award, given by the Talent Board, honors companies that are leaders in engaging candidates from the first interaction through onboarding. Humana was recognized along with other companies including Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble, New Balance Athletics, Inc., and American Airlines.
Overall, 65 winners representing a wide range of industry sectors and sizes were recognized and celebrated for providing job candidates with an exemplary candidate experience as defined by the candidates.
“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized among some of the world’s leading companies for creating exemplary candidate experiences,” said Ty Richardson, Humana’s Vice President of Talent Management. “We take pride ensuring that every interaction represents Humana’s engaging culture, and hope our hiring process leaves each candidate with a positive experience – whether they receive a job offer or not.”
The winning companies were identified through a blind data analysis based on their job candidates’ satisfaction survey scores. Multiple factors in the data summaries were considered in the final analysis, however, three key questions had a significant impact on determining the winners. These questions focused specifically on the likelihood that the candidate would reapply to the organization, whether or not the candidates would refer other job seekers to the organization and the candidates overall ranking of their specific candidate experience.
Talent Board is a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience. The organization, Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards program and its sponsors are dedicated to recognizing the candidate experience offered by companies throughout the entire recruitment cycle and to forever changing the manner in which job candidates are treated.
